The Winthrop Ballpark first opened in 2001 and is one of the finest in the Southeast and the Big South Conference. In addition to the action on the field, fans are entertained during games by the video board that hovers above the outfield wall in left centerfield. The offices for the coaching staff are on site as well as a team room, athletic training room, weight room, locker room and indoor hitting area. The Winthrop Ballpark hosted the Big South Conference Championship in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2014.
