Interested in being in the LCA School Board? Interested candidates should submit their resume and/or brief bio to carol.aust.sc@gmail.com. These resumes/bios will be shared with the public.
Friday, April 17, 2026 - Close of nominations at 12:00 PM EST
April 18-25, 2026 - Board nomination committee will select a date and time to meet to review candidates.
May 5, 2026, Candidate Information including reason for running will be posted online.
May 5, 2026, Voting is open with e-ballot links emailed to each parent/guardian and employee of SC Prep’s. Voting will close on May 7, 2026, at 4:00 pm. There is one vote per child enrolled in the school and one vote per employee. Voting will be available via e-ballot, allowing parents and employees to vote online. Each ballot will have a unique pin number to ensure confidentiality and integrity of the process. Computers will be available at the school during normal school hours.
May 11, 2026, Election results will be certified and announced publicly. School board members will be announced publicly. New board members will be sworn in on June 26, 2026. This will complete the election process.
Meeting and Training Requirements:
Board Members Legion Collegiate Academy are required to attend all board meetings. Mandated Board Training – All board members are required to attend board training within 1 year of being elected.
