Freshman guard Amelia Williams scored 15 points and dished out five assists for the Legion Collegiate Academy girls basketball team who dropped a 52-39 decision on the road to Charlotte Country Day. With the loss, the Lancers drop to 2-3 on the season.

Joining Williams in double figures was sophomore guard Jaylen McMurray with 10 points.  Freshman forward Jana Kandil finished with 6 points while senior center Brianna Cook added 5 points and a game-high 8 rebounds.

The Lancers will be back in action on Friday, Dec. 8, when they travel cross town for a rematch with rival York Preparatory Academy. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
