Kaitlyn Garvin led the Legion Collegiate Academy girls' basketball team to a 53-35 victory over visiting Atlantic Collegiate Academy on Wednesday night as she scored 18 points to lead three Lancers in double figures. The win improves the Lancers to 4-8 while Atlantic Collegiate's Armada drops to 4-11.

LCA took an early lead and never trailed in the contest. The Lancers led 16-12 at the end of the first quarter and held a 31-18 halftime lead as both Garvin and sophomore guard
Jaylen McMurray had 10 points each at intermission. McMurray finished the game with 13 points while freshman guard
Amelia Williams scored 16. Atlantic Collegiate was led by junior guard Hannah Goodman who tied Garvin for game-high honors with 18 points while sophomore Micah Davis finished with 12.
Legion will complete a busy week on Thursday when it hosts 1-of-1 Prep at 6 p.m. for its third game in three days.
