Legion Collegiate Academy's sophomore guard
Kaitlyn Garvin poured in 17 points in the fourth quarter as she connected on five 3-pointers to lead the Lancers to a 64-47 home win on Thursday nigh over 1-of-1 Prep. The win is the second in a row for the Legion girls and improves their record to 5-8.

Garvin finished the game with 23 points and she made six 3-pointers in the game while teammate
Jaylen McMurray, another sophomore guard, led all scorers in the game with 24, including 12 in the third quarter. With Garvin and McMurray providing the offense, Legion overcame a 25-18 halftime deficit to win the game comfortably. The Lancers outscored the visitors 20-9 in the third quarter and 26-13 in the final quarter as they turned up the defensive pressure and forced their opponent into numerous turnovers and missed shots.
The Legion girls will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Cheraw High School.
