The Legion Collegiate Academy girls varsity volleyball team swept host Blythewood High School on Tuesday night to earn its 34th win of the season. The Lancers are now 34-6-3 heading into Senior Night this Thursday night against Kings Mountain at 6:30 p.m.

Addison Burke leading the way, the Lancers won the three sets by the scores of 25-16, 25-23 and 25-22.
Larner set the offense with 23 kills and added four digs on defense while Burke led the Lancers with 14 kills on offense and 10 defensive digs. Two other seniors, libero

Bryanna Young, also had solid performances. Pershin had seven digs while Young had five kills, three service aces and three digs.
Legion will say goodbye to six seniors who will be playing their final home match on Thursday night. In addition to Larner, Burke, Pershin and Young, the Lancers will also honor
Josalynn Shaw. Larner will also be recognized for reaching her 1,000th career assist on Sept. 22 on the road. Thursday's season finale will also be Pink Out Night as fans are encouraged to wear pink.
The LCA junior varsity team lost to Blythewood 2-1 (21-25, 25-16, 8-15) and are now 14-7 for the season with one home match remaining on Thursday against Kings Mountain at 5:00 p.m.
The Legion JV was led by libero Berlyn Arnold with 27 digs and three assists while Kara Sion had 13 digs and two aces and Ella Hopkins had five aces and two digs.
