The Legion Collegiate Academy girls' basketball team dropped its final two games of the Legion Classic in Chicago on Saturday and Sunday.
The Lancers are now 1-2 as they return home to open their home schedule on Tuesday night against Westminster Catawba.
In Saturday's game against Link Academy from Branson, Missouri, 6-1 junior forward
LaKiara Alexander led Legion with 13 points in the 46-35 loss. She scored the last 10 points that the Lancers had in the game.
On Sunday, it was 5-9 senior guard
Devin Long who led the Lancers as she finished witth 17 points in the 59-39 loss to Lincoln Prep from Hamilton, Ontario.
The three-day event was hosted by the NAAIS (National Athletic Association of Independent Schools). The Lancers will play in two more NAAIS tournaments this season.
