Austin Kennedy scored a season best 17 points to lead the Legion Collegiate College JV team to its first win of the season. The Lancers are now 1-3 as they prepare to host Parkwood High School on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
The Lancers took a 25-22 lead at halftime, but were outscored 16-7 in the third quarter to fall behind by six points heading into the final period.
However, it was Kennedy that helped lead the fourth quarter surge by scoring nine of his team's 18 points as the Lancers fought back for the win. Eight of LCA's fourth quarter points came at the free throw line.
William Spatola was in double figure scoring as well with 11 points. Nine of his points came in the first half.
