Isaiah Worley scored 23 points to lead the Legion Collegiate Academy varsity to its first victory of the season with a 68-62 win over visiting Parkwood High School on Wednesday night.

The Lancers are now 1-4 on the season.

The Lancers connected on on five 3-point field goals to take a 19-15 first quarter lead and took a 35-29 at intermission. Legion came out in the third quarter to outscore Parkwood 23-12 behind Worley's eight points.. The Lancers allowed the visitors to cut the lead to just four points in the final seconds, but LCA hung on for the win.  

Eyan Byrd finished with nine points while Shawn Thomasson added seven points.

JV Team Falls 44-38 to Parkwood

The Legion Collegiate JV team dropped to 1-4 on the season as the Lancers let a a halftime lead slip away in the second half. Bryan Jeudy led the Lancers with 13 points
