LaKiara Alexander scored a game-high 21 points to lead three Lancers in double figures, but Legion Collegiate Academy fell on the road to Cannon School, 59-49 on Friday evening.
Legion is now 4-4 on the season and will return home on Tuesday, Nov. 26, to face Charlotte Catholic at 5:00 p.m. following the boy's JV game at 4:00 and prior to the boy's varsity game at 6:45.
LCA fell behind 18-11 after one quarter and were down 28-20 at intermission. The Lancers played the host team nearly even in the second half as Cannon won the second half 31-29.
Alexander scored nine first half points and added 12 more in the second half, including 10 of her team's 20 third quarter total.
