Junior forward LaKiara Alexander scored a game-high 21 points to lead three Lancers in double figures, but Legion Collegiate Academy fell on the road to Cannon School, 59-49 on Friday evening.

Legion is now 4-4 on the season and will return home on Tuesday, Nov. 26, to face Charlotte Catholic at 5:00 p.m. following the boy's JV game at 4:00 and prior to the boy's varsity game at 6:45.

LCA fell behind 18-11 after one quarter and were down 28-20 at intermission. The Lancers played the host team nearly even in the second half as Cannon won the second half 31-29.  

Alexander scored nine first half points and added 12 more in the second half, including 10 of her team's 20 third quarter total. 

Joining her in double figures was junior center Aiyana Murrell with 11 and sophomore guard Jaylen McMurray with 10.
