Maddox Cottman and
Kenyn Walker scored career highs for the Legion Collegiate Academy boys basketball team, but it wasn't enough to produce a victory as the Lancers lost 87-68 to Collins Hill High School from Suwanee, GA in the first round of the Daniel Lions Holiday Tournament on Friday night.
The Lancers will now face either Seneca or Walhalla High School in the loser's bracket at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Cottman finished with 18 points, all coming on 3-point field goals as he connected on six of eight 3-pt. attempts and made all four of his attempts in the fourth quarter. Walker scored 15 points. Also in double figure for Legion was
Isaiah Worley who scored 14 points.Â
Legion fell behind 47-27 af halftime, but outscored Collins Hill 41-40 in the second half. Â
