Isaiah Worley scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Legion Collegiate Academy boys to a 78-77 win over Walhalla in the consolation bracket of the Daniel Lions Holiday Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
Worley's double-double helped the Lancers snap a seven-game losing skid and improves Legion's record to 2-12 as it moves on to the consolation finals on Monday at 2:00 p.m.
Worley, who connected on 9 of 13 field goals, including three 3-pointers, and made three free throws, led four players in double figures. Point guard
Cooper Brzozka reached season highs in both points and assists with 13 and seven, respectively.
Kenyn Walker and
Shawn Thomason added 10 points each.
