Lakiara Alexander sparked a 45-point second half run by the Legion Collegiate Academy Girls' basketball team which defeated Jackson Day School 63-49 on Saturday afternoon.
After scoring just 18 first half points, Legion rode the shoulders of Alexander, a 6-1 junior forward, who scored 15 of her game-high 20 points in the third and fourth quarters to lead the Lancers to their sixth straight win and improve their season record to 12-6.
