The Legion Collegiate Academy girl's soccer team split a pair of games Saturday in the Sabalier Kickoff Classic to advance to the finals on Sunday.

The Lancers opened with a 3-2 loss to T.L. Hanna High School as Rhyia Mitchell and Carolyn Tessadri scored the two goals.'Legion bounced back in the afternoon to defeat Powdersville High 1-0 as Mitchell provided the game winner and has now scored goals in three straight games.
