The Legion Collegiate Academy junior varsity softball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Hickory Ridge on Tuesday night in a rain-shortened four-inning game.

Lancer pitcher Brynley Gaa went the four innings and took the loss while allowing two earned runs on four hits as she struck out six and gave up two walks.

The leading hitter for LCA was Mackenzie Goins who went 2 for 2 at the plate. Legion's one run was driven in by Brooklyn Shirey.
