The Legion Collegiate Academy JV Softball Team shellacked the Lancaster Bruins 19-0 on Thursday in a road game as the Lancer girls improve their record to 3-4.
Lilliana Galloway earned the win in the circle as she pitched four innings and allowed just one hit while striking out four Bruins and not allowing a walk. She also fame up with three runs batted in with a double as the Lancers collected seven hits and took advantage of Lancaster pitching that allowed 11 walks and a defense that committed six errors. Â
Brooklyn Shirey and
Ashleigh Hartwig led Legion hitters with two base hits each.Â
The JV team's next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, at Gray Collegiate Academy beginning at 5:30 p.m.
