The Legion Collegiate Academy Varsity Baseball Team got on the board with four runs in the second inning and never looked back as it breezed to a 11-1 victory at Atlantic Collegiate Academy on Friday.

Starting pitcher Connor Salerno hurled five shutout innings and allowed just three hits to earn the win. The southpaw struck out eight and walked three to help his team improve to 13-7-2 on the year.

The Lancers piled up 12 hits as Riley Stiles, Andres Lopez, and Gavin MacDonald each collected two hits. Will Bartnikowski and Justin Iannetto each drove in two runs.

Legion will host Rabun Gap on Tuesday, April 30, at 6:00 p.m. at The Winthrop Ballpark.
