LaKiara Alexander recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Legion Collegiate Academy girls' basketball team to its 11th straight victory with a 63-47 victory at Victory Christian Academy in Charlotte on Tuesday night.
The Lancer girls, ranked 25th in this week's MaxPreps South Carolina poll, are now 17-6 on the season and will travel to Greensboro Day School on Thursday.

Kaitlyn Garvin joined Alexander in the double figure scoring column with 11 points. As a team, the Lancers connected on 46 percent of its shots (25-54), including 9 of 19 from behind the 3-point line. Alexander was 9 of 16 overall from the floor and two of four from long distance. In addition to her scoring and rebounding totals, Alexander also had five of Legion's six blocked shots.
