Legion Collegiate Academy junior forward Isaiah Worley scored 16 points, but the Lancers were out manned in a 72-34 home loss on Friday night to Christ School, the number one ranked team in North Carolina and 17th in the nation.

Worley scored all of his points in the first half as he connected on all seven of his field goal attempts, including three field goals from behind the 3-point arc.  He only took two unsuccessful shot attempts in the final two quarters. As a team, the Lancers connected on just 13 of 34 field goals (38.2 pct.) and made 5 of 13 from long distance (38.4 pct.).

Legion suffered its third straight loss and is now 5-18 on the season.

The Legion boys' JV  fell to Christ School 39-31 on Friday afternoon at home to fall to 4-9 on the season.

Brennan Washington scored 10 points and Micah Haynes added 8 for the Lancers.
