The Legion Collegiate Academy girls' basketball team dropped its fifth straight game on Wednesday as the Lancers lost at home to 1 of 1 Prep, 66-50.
Junior guard
Amelia Williams led three double figure scorers for Legion as she had 13 points, followed by
Jaylen McMurray and
LaKiara Alexander with 11 points each.
The game was tied 29-29 at halftime, but 1 of 1 Prep, the No. 8 ranked team in North Carolina, outscored Legion 23-11 in the third quarter to take control of the game.
LCA is now 18-12 overall and 9-2 at home on the season and they will travel to Rabun Gap, GA on Friday to face Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School at 5:30 p.m.
