The Legion Collegiate Academy boys basketball team closed out the 2024-25 season Tuesday night with a 73-30 loss to a talented Ambassador Christian team from Huntersville, NC.

The Lancers suffered through a cold shooting night and failed to have any players reach double figures in scoring.  Legion had four players score five points to lead them in scoring. Those four were senior Eyan Byrd, juniors Isaiah Worley and Kenyn Walker, and sophomore Bryan Jeudy.

Ambassador Christian, which improved to 19-5 on the year, was led in scoring by guard J.D. Bowden with 15 points.

Legion ends its season with a 7-22 record.

The Legion boys JV team suffered a similar fate as it fell to Ambassador Christian 63-36 in its season finale.

The Lancers fell behind 23-7 after the first quarter as the visitors breeze to the win.

Bryan Jeudy was the lone Lancer to reach double figures in scoring as he finished with 12 points.
