Senior Midfielder Trent Farley scored five goals and had one assists in Legion Collegiate Academy's opening boys lacrosse game, but the Lancers came up short in a 13-11 loss at Marvin Ridge on Monday night

Junior goalie Caden Yeakley had eight saves as he played the entire game in the goal. Defensively, the Lancers were anchored by senior defender Jackson Howard, sophomore defender Carson Ryan, and sophomore midfielder Chris Savage. 

Coach Parker Thomas' squad will be back in action on Tuesday night when it travels to Charlotte to face Providence Day School at 7:00 p.m.
