The Legion Collegiate Academy boys' lacrosse team fell to Christ The King 15-5 on Friday night in its home opener.
The Lancers fell behind 3-0 after the first period before senior
Trent Farley rifled in a shot from just to the left of the goal to put Legion on the board. Christ The King responded quickly with four more goals before Legion was able to score again. The Lancers trailed 9-2 at halftime.
Farley scored four of Legion's goals while the fifth one came from
Jonas Plummer.
The Lancers fall to 0-3 and will be seeking their first win on Monday, March 3, when they host Charlotte Latin at 5:00 p.m.on Lancer Field.
