LaKiara Alexander scored a game-high 21 points and Amelia Williams added 13 to lead the Legion Collegiate Academy girls' basketball team to a 52-37 victory at Weddington High School on Tuesday evening.

The win snapped a 6-game losing streak by the Lancers and improves their record to 19-13. Legion will try to reach a 20-win season on Wednesday when it travels to Indian Land to face 1 of 1 Prep in a rematch of a loss on Jan. 29 at home.

Alexander and Williams combined for 17 of LCA's 30 first half points as the Lancers led 30-21 at the half.
