Four players scored in double figures to lead the Legion Collegiate Academy boys' basketball team to a 62-60 victory over the South Charlotte Thunder on Tuesday night.

The Lancers and Thunder battled on even terms throughout the game as the two teams were tied 32-32 at halftime and 46 all after three quarters.  

Legion placed four players in double figures as Kenyn Walker and Jakub Siuta each scored 11points and Isaiah Worley and  Maddox Cottman  Nihad 10 points each.  Shawn Thomason pitched in with eight points while Nico Byrd scored six points.

The win snapped a six-game losing streak for the Lancers and improved their record to 6-21.  The same two teams are scheduled to face each other again on Friday at 7:15 p.m. as it will be Senior Night.

South Charlotte JV--60      Legion JV--38
Three players scored eight points each for the Legion boys' JV who fell to the South Charlotte Thunder JV 60-38 on Tuesday afternoon. 

Aiden Kimani, Micah Haynes and Brannan Washington each scored eight in the losing cause.

The Legion JV is now 4-11 and will be home on Feb. 7 at 4:00 p.m. to again face South Charlotte.
