The Legion boys' lacrosse team lost a hard-fought double overtime thriller to Lake Norman Charter on Monday night by the score of 8-7.

Jaxson Smithers and Trent Farley led the Lancer offense with three goals each while Jack Fleischhauer scored the other Legion goal.  Caden Yeakley had eight saves in the goal.

The Lancers drop to 1-5 on the season as they will travel to Charlotte on Tuesday night to face South Mecklenburg High School at 7:00 p.m.
