Brady Kahn scored two goals, including the game winner, and Jaxson Smithers had five goals to lead the Legion Collegiate Academy lacrosse team to a 9-8 double overtime win at Ballantyne Ridge High School on Wednesday evening.

The win improves the Lancers to 3-8 on the season and ends a three-game losing streak. The Lancers will travel to Rabun Gap, GA on Saturday to face a strong Rabun Gap-Nacoochee team.

In addition to Smithers' five goals and the two by Kahn, Jackson Thalinger and Zach Savage each had one goal. Caden Yeakley played a strong game in goal with nine saves, and Carson Ryan led the way on the defensive side of the ball.
