Hudson Riordan connected on a first inning grand slam home run to lead Legion Collegiate Academy past Combine Academy, 10-1, on Monday at Winthrop's Founders Field. 

The Lancers scored five more runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth inning as Justin Iannetto doubled to drive in three runs, and Gavin MacDonald's single scored two more runs.

Coalson Williams the game for Legion and earned the win as the left-handed pitcher gave up three hits and one run (zero earned) over six innings. He fanned five and walked two. Gavin Oakes threw one inning of scoreless relief. 

The Lancers collected nine hits in the game. Iannetto led Legion with a perfect 4 for 4 night, and Riordan was 3 for 4.
