The Legion Collegiate Academy lacrosse team celebrated Senior Night on Monday with a 12-6 victory over Pine Lake Prep out of Huntersville, NC.
Three of the four seniors who were honored during the pre-game ceremony played key roles in the victory.
Trent Farley was involved in half of Legion's scores. He had two goals and assisted on four others. Johnny Kalman scored three goals, and
Cole Carson had one goal and one assist.
Jaxson Smithers had another big game with three goals and two assists.
Brady Kahn scored a goal and had one assists, and
Jackson Thalinger added one goal. Defensively, goalkeeper
Carter Fields made 12 saves.
The win was the fourth straight for the Lancers and improves their record to 7-9 on the season. They will jump back into action in just over 12 hours as they host Canisius Prep out of Buffalo, NY, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Lancer Field.
