The Legion Collegiate girls' soccer team defeated The Cannon School, 2-1, on the road Monday evening behind the goal scoring of Makayla Colbert who netted both goals.

Kirkland Stewart was very good in the goal and Ellen Creagh was nominated by her teammates as the game MVP.  Head coach Jim Finnerty said Creagh was a huge part of the possession we had in the middle of the pitch. "She created several good chances for herself and teammates. We played really good soccer and controlled the tempo. I am very pleased with the performance from the girls," he said.
