The Legion Collegiate boys soccer team defeated The Hammond School 4-0 on Wednesday in the final game of the Nike Palmetto Cup and finished without a loss.

The Lancers went 2-0-1 and tied for the best record in the three-game event, but was designated the runner-up as they finished second in the tiebreaker for total goals scored with 22 points while Blythewood had 24. Legion remains undefeated on the season with a 6-01 record.

Goals were scored by Gavin Muschik, Luke Faille, Nick Redman and Bryan Jeudy.

"I could not be more proud of the boys for the team they have become and the way they play the game," said head coach Jim Finnerty.

The Lancers return home on Friday, April 18, to face Atlantic Collegiate Acadeemy at 7:00 p.m.
