Hudson Riordan collected three hits in three at bats, including a home run and double, to lead the Legion Collegiate Academy baseball team to a 9-6 victrory over  T.L. Hanna on Wednesday.

Riordan's home run to left field came in the first inning and his double was in the fourth inning. He singled in the third inning.

The win improved the Lancers' record to 14-8.

Legion jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first inning, but  T.L. Hanna scored five runs on two hitsin the bottom of the first to take the lead, 5-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a 3-run home run to right field by Seth Manning off Lancer starter Griffin McKain, who managed to earn the win after giving up six runs on five hits over six innings.  

T.L. Hanna extended its lead to 6-3 with a  run in the second on an RBI single by Will Craddock. Legion jumped back into the lead in the top of the third inning as Matthew Pond singled, Briggs Lee  doubled to center field, and Jackson Gordon doubled to center. 

Legion collected 15 hits in the game with Riordan and Gordon each getting three hits. Pond and Andres Lopez each collected two hits for Legion.
