Legion Collegiate Academy's baseball got its Spring Break week off to a good start as it topped North Brunswick 5-3 on Monday in the Wilmington Tournament.
The Lancers got on the board in the third inning when
Justin Iannetto drove in two runs with a double.
Coalson Williams earned the win for Legion as he allowed six hits and one run over six innings, striking out two and walking none.
Gavin MacDonald appeared in relief and picked up the save.
Legion amassed nine hits in the game. Iannetto provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and finished with three RBI to go along with a 2-for-4 on the day.
Andres Lopez went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Legion in hits. Iannetto stole two bases.
The Lancers are now 16-8 and have won five games in a row heading into Tuesday's action in Wilmington.
