Legion Collegiate Academy''s baseball team  defeated the Pro Stock Royals, 5-0, on Tuesday. evening to improve its record to 11-6.

Coalson Williams threw six shutout innings while surrendering six hits and striking out seven. Ben Lee came on in relief to get the final three outs and preserve the shutout.

The Lancers took a 1-0 lead in the first when Gavin MacDonald singled to drive in the run.  Legion  added one run in the third after Justin Iannetto doubled to right field.

Legion Collegiate Academy Varsity Lancer piled up 10 hits in the game.  Iannetto went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Lancers. Andres Lopez collected two hits in four at bats. 

Next up for the Lancers is a game at Metrolina Christian Academy on Thursday.
