Kim Case is in her fifth year as the golf coach at Legion Collegiate Academy following a very successful seven year tenure at South Pointe High School.
She is one tournament victory away from her 100th high school win with a 99-2 overall as a girl's coach as her teams have dominated local and regional golf. She went 90-1 at South Pointe and is 9-1 at LCA. Case has coached her teams to 14 tournament victories and her 2014 South Pointe team swept the SCHSL Regional, Upper State and State Championships. In all, Case-coached teams have won eight Regional titles to go along with the one Upper State and one State championship.Â
Her players have also racked up numerous individual awards over the years. Three of her players have won Regional individual championships, and she has produced six All-State Team selections, including two each by Chandler Case and Kayleigh "Buggy" Reinke and 36 All-Region Team performers. Twelve of the players Case has coached have gone on to play collegiately.
