Dr. Alex Stratton is a skilled and dedicated physical therapist and certified athletic trainer with several years of combined experience in the fields of athletic training, physical therapy and manual therapy.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Charleston in West Virginiain 2016 and, in 2020, completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Wheeling University, also in West Virginia.
With certifications in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, as well as Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Dr. Stratton offers a unique and comprehensive approach to patient care. These advanced qualifications enable her to provide tailored treatment plans that support musculoskeletal health and optimize athletic performance.
Throughout her career, Dr. Stratton has developed a strong foundation in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment and has had the opportunity to work with a wide array of patients — from youth athletes to collegiate-level players, active-duty military personnel, and those in post-surgical recovery. Her expertise spans the full continuum of care, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and rehabilitation necessary to regain mobility, strength, and performance.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Stratton has a genuine passion for teaching and takes pride in inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals. Drawing on her unique background and real-world experience, she brings Health Science to life in the classroom, sharing her deep appreciation for the medical field in a way that engages and motivates her students.
