Legion Collegiate Academy

Natalie Sawyer was born and raised in South Carolina and graduated from Nation Ford High School before attending Clemson University as a Clemson Teaching Fellow. She earned both Mathematics and Secondary Education degrees from Clemson, graduating in 2024. During her time there, she also had the unique opportunity to help write Algebra textbooks.

She describes her teaching style as "interactive and student-centered, with a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning, peer collaboration, and exploration."

"I love incorporating hands-on activities, project-based learning, and technology integration to make lessons engaging and relevant. In my classroom, you’ll find plenty of practice, problem-solving, discussion, and opportunities for students to learn from one another."

She is excited to be a part of the LCA faculty.
